About the Show

Titanic is a dramatic retelling of the tragic voyage of the RMS Titanic, which sank in 1912 after striking an iceberg. The show, which opened on Broadway in 1997, weaves together the stories of various passengers, from wealthy elites in first class to hopeful immigrants in third class, as they embark on the ship’s ill-fated journey. Titanic focuses on the humanity of those aboard, touching on themes of hope, ambition, and tragedy.

Yeston’s score perfectly captures both the hope and heartbreak of Titanic's passengers. "In Every Age" reflects on humanity’s relentless pursuit of progress, "No Moon" builds tension as the lookouts note the eerily calm sea, setting the stage for disaster, and "We’ll Meet Tomorrow" is a poignant farewell as passengers face their fate with courage and love, making it one of the musical’s most emotional moments.
